Marvel fans can’t wait to get their teeth into the third installment of the ‘Thor’ franchise. Rumors abound as information slowly trickles into the media. Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige promises that more information is going to be released this summer.
Thor: Ragnarok is currently in development. Christopher Yost, who co-wrote Thor: The Dark World, is rumored to be working on the new script with producer Craig Kyle. The last anyone heard was from actor Chris Hemsworth, who said that the script is not yet complete, still undergoing some revisions. It may not even be these writers. Feige will reveal the official writing team by the end of the summer.
Kenneth Branagh was the original ‘Thor’ director. Assumptions prevail that he will return for the third installment, as well. Feige will not verify this, instead hinting that someone else may be taking over the directorial helm. Sergio Cortes said that this announcement is also expected to hit later this summer.
Feige has also hinted at possibly revealing some of the casting assignments during these announcements. The only information we know for sure is that filming is not slated to begin until mid-2016.
