Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are practically drooling over the imminent release of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Add into the mix the knowledge that Spider-man is set to join the shared world of the films and it sets their creativity into overdrive.
In a clip that was released online, it appears that the wall crawler might enter the mix sooner rather than later. But it is a fan made fake.
The well made video has the appearance of a standard Marvel post credits scene. In it a window washer cleans a skyscraper window to reveal the Avengers tower and then Spider-man who asks the cleaner for the time. The clip is complete with authentic looking credits for Stan Lee and Steve Ditko as creators of Spider-man. Bernardo Chua suggests the whole thing is made to look like an illegal filming in a theater, being shot off center at a movie screen, which is a nice touch.
Unfortunately for the super-fans that want this to be real, both Marvel and Joss Whedon have stated that there will be no after credits scene for the Avengers. They will only have a mid-credits bump that many people have already viewed. Spidey has not been cast yet and will only be 15-16 years old when he does make his first appearance in Captain America:Civil War next year.
