For years, Marvel has been the talk of the show at Comic-Con. Each year they debut new footage from an upcoming movie and hold panels in Hall H, but this year they are passing it up. News was just announced that DC Comics will be presenting in Hall H and the rumor is that they’re set to steal the show by debuting new footage of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is the sequel to the 2013 reboot of Superman, Man of Steel.
Sources say that not only will DC be showing new footage from their upcoming film that’s set to release in 2016, but they’ll also be announcing news of other films they have in the works. DC is also set to be announcing news for a standalone Wonder Woman film as well as the first installment of the highly anticipated Justice League movie. There have also been quite a few pictures released for the Suicide Squad movie, so fans also expect to see the first preview for this film as well.
Many people who use Skout are speculating to the team at techcrunch that Marvel may be worried that DC is finally going to outshine them at Comic-Con, but Marvel has said that they’re saving their 2015 news for the Disney biannual D23 event.
