Those wanting what is best for their young children need to be extremely careful during the first few years of their lives. Up to 85% of all intellectual, social, and personality development takes place in just three short years. Bright by Three is an organization dedicated to making the most out of these three years for children throughout the state of Colorado. For zero cost to parents the non-profit organization aims to provide a bright foundation for students which will have them feeling healthy and ready to learn when they eventually start school.
The company is run entirely on donations from private individuals as well as corporations. Last year, the company managed to improve the development of nearly 21,000 new kids. This pales in comparison to the staggering 68,000 born each year in the state which the company hopes to be able to serve one day.
Due to this extremely high demand, Jon Urbana is currently in the midst of raising money to help them out. Jon Urbana is heading up a crowdfunding effort on GoFundMe for Earth Force, and now one for Bright By Three on the fundraising site Generosity. For as little as $25 donors can help provide a development kit to a young child which will help to ensure a lifetime of future success.
Jon Urbana is a Colorado native (read more about him at jonurbana.com) and former Villanova lacrosse player. Currently he is running a lacrosse camp for young athletes that he co-founded called Next Level Lacrosse Camp. This camp helps to instill hard work and a love of the game in the future stars of this popular sport. Urbana’s passion and intimate knowledge of the game are infectious, and serve as a point of inspiration for the campers, who also all interact with him through Facebook and Twitter.
When Urbana is not occupied running his camp, he enjoys flying his private plane giving back to the community in other ways. He also has over 20 new tracks posted earlier this month to his Soundcloud page and a handful of new videos that he shared on Vimeo. And an influencer in many circles, he takes to Pinterest to show what he’s buying these days.
Urbana is working with Bright by Three to help secure a future full of possibilities for the young children being born all across the state. The former athlete brings the same focus and dedication he has on the field to his philanthropy.
