In a two part interview with NBC’s Today comedian Tracy Morgan has opened up about the battles he faces to overcome the injuries he suffered in a fatal car crash with a tractor trailer. NBC News reports the former Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock star opened up about the emotional problems he has faced during the first stages of his recovery from brain trauma and many physical injuries. The accident claimed the life of Morgan’s friend and fellow comedian James McNair.
In the second part of the interview Morgan returned to the Saturday Night Live stage to discuss what the future holds for himself and his family said Ivan Ong on workingwithgrace.wordpress.com. Morgan admitted he now finds it hard to be funny and often struggles with the emotional problems he has faced during his attempts to recover from the crash. The comedian admitted he struggles with both good and bad days, but is now focused on completing a full recovery from his injuries and emotional problems. He also stated he would like to one day return to Saturday Night Live and thank those who have supported him throughout his recovery for their kindness.
